Pascal’s law states that when there is an increase in pressure at any point in a confined fluid, there is an equal increase at every other point in the container. Use this device to show students the law in action.
Simply fill the device with water, push down on the piston, and watch as water is evenly forced through the holes. Students see for themselves what happens with an increase in pressure at any point in a confined fluid. Perforated borosilicate glass bulb has a 2” (50 mm) diameter and is fitted with a piston for compressing liquids. Total device height is 10” (250 mm). Includes instructions.
