Pen needles are used in conjunction with injection pens to deliver injectable medications into the body. Insulin pen needles come in a variety of lengths and widths to suit all body types. From 8 mm to 4 mm, the needle length you choose is likely to be dictated by your size, children being likely to benefit from the shorter 6 mm size. Each pen needle is embedded in a plastic hub that can attach to the pen.
